Won the Frances Donin Awardat school today.
It's the longest going award they have been giving at Kingsborough. Its for art obviously. pffft like I would win an academic award.
ANYWAY
Its basically for being an overall "outstanding" student in all art classes and having "incredible" art abilities.
"The award includes a check of $250.00, which we hope will assist you in your endeavor to become a professional artist."

Bad news: I have to set up my full portfolio for her to review, and create 3 magazine covers one of them being a full issue wiht a minimum of 16 pages. I need to make sure its a structured layout and everything is in check. It needs to be in InDesign which i know CRAP about i learned layouts in quark but i hear its pretty similar. Hopefully :/ Ill be spending all weekend on this... She wants it on tuesday.
If she likes it all she'll think about it. Basically she wants to make sure i deserve this free pass.
